ARGENTINA, 1962
Jorge Consiglio has a degree in Literature from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), where he also taught a course in Semiotics. In 2003 he won the Nuevos Narradores award from the publisher Opera Prima in Spain for his first novel El bien (Good). He currently writes for a wide range of media and gives workshops in private and at institutions such as the Biblioteca Nacional Mariano Moreno and the Casa de Letras.
"Jorge Consiglio's novels are like those friends you see from time to time, but every time you meet them, infallibly after a few minutes, the intimacy that was never lost reappears."
Patricio Zunini, Infobae
"Consiglio's writing aches with poetry through its attention and complexity."
The Skinny
"There is a timeless quality to Consiglio's prose...a storyteller of rare ingenuity."
