Magdalena Ruiz Guiñazú
ARGENTINA, 1935 - 2022
She has, from a very young age, worked in printed, radio and television journalism. In 1983 she was a member of the CONADEP (National Commission for the Disappearance Persons during the Military Process). She has had a hand in the making of numerous documentaries, including ESMA, el día del juicio; Los archivos de la censura and El día después. She has received major prizes of great importance such as the Golden Martín Fierro for her contribution to journalism, the French Republic’s Légion d’Honneur for her defence of human rights and the Alicia Moreau de Justo for journalistic ethics.
