Jumbled Pages

Pablo De Santis

YOUNG ADULT NOVEL. COLIHUE, 1997. 96 PAGES

Darío inherits a struggling publisher from his uncle, and also a novel with all the pages jumbled up. Working through the night, he sets out to put the book back together again with the help of Greta, the proofreader at Fuselage Press. The novel they're reassembling tells of the adventures of Ives Montaner, a French detective who is given the task of tracking down a dead great writer's last novel. Bodies appear, pages disappear and things get more and more complicated for the detective, Darío, Greta and the reader, who must follow the clues to put the pages in the right order and find out how the adventure ends.
